[attr="class","BOXU"] THE SPIRITS A MUST READ FOR ALL PARTIES SPIRITS IN GENERALGODSNEW SPIRITSTHE BLOODLESS [/i] He is the one who saved the Slidr River Valley when Espen the God-Bear was defeated. He was born from the last standing Red Wood, and glows like moonlight on the snow. The Bloodless is a small, lithe deer-like unicorn with a mane belonging to a lion and a tail from a horse. Between his pale eyes rests his curved, crystallized horn, a deadly weapon that he wields as a tool for kindness. The Bloodless, unlike Espen, is highly reclusive. Generations can pass before someone sees a glance of this forest god. Often when he is spotted, The Bloodless is sharing the company of Espen. Yet many will still pray beneath the last Red Wood to him, hoping to receive a miracle or a wish-come-true. Few have ever happened...[/ul] ESPEN THE GOD-BEAR[/i] Espen is a mighty, snowy bear who patrols the Frior Mountain Range. Rumors have said he was born when the mountain tops began to crumble, and one boulder cracked open to reveal him. He stands as tall as three average horses and is as strong as the mountains he calls home. When he bellows, the mountains shake. Beneath this lumbering beast is tender soul, one whom is very much attached to the Ambrosius House, and does what he can to aid the royal household. True to the nature of gods, he permits no foul play or bloodshed on his territory. Thus, while the Ambrosius household possesses one of the weakest militaries, they are protected by the God-Bear. Once a year, the God-Bear must eat or waste away into nothing. The Ambrosius and Vromme households always came together to present the God-Bear with one whom they believed was worthy to be eaten. To be chosen is a great honor, for part of them merges with Espen. This celebration happens on the twelth moon and is a joyous celebration.[/ul] FENRIR THE HUNGRY[/i] Fenrir is the great, terrible wolf-beast that plagues the Slidr River Valley. He has claimed countless lives, both spiritual and mortal. He was not always the insatable beast that he is today. In fact, he began life as a guardian meant to protect his human God. Misgivings by other Gods, Spirits, and mortals left deep, irreparable wounds in his heart. Over time, their torments turned the protective guardian into a violent, scornful spirit. Ostracized from and feared by his peers, they crafted a cage that he would never be able to escape--the Slidr River Valley. Nowadays he spends his time killing mortals and spirits as a warning to his captors that eventually they too will have the same fate. picture here[/ul] COYOTE[/i] Not to be confused with his cousin, Coyote is a trickster spirit who roams all of Slidr River Valley brooding trouble wherever his shadowy paws land. He has the appearance of shadow incarnate, with pearly white eyes that shine through the deepest darkness. Though his spirit cousin Fenrir the Hungry is far more ravenous, it is debatable who causes the most damage to the land. Even the Gods fall victim to Coyote’s tricks, and rumors spread like small buds in the ears of the equine that perhaps Coyote is no spirit at all, but a more mischievous god. picture here[/ul]
